I’m realizing its even more important to understand how food affects my body as I get older. I also don’t have the time or desire to work out for hours anymore, only to be ravenous and eat away all my exercising efforts.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s always a better day when I break a sweat. ALWAYS better (even if just cut on Netflix and do a stretching video on my iPad while I nurse my Madmen addiction) However, at this time in my fitness journey and life, I don’t have to overexert myself in order to feel better.
Seasons change but some things stay the same. Every Fall, for as long as I can remember, my love for new fashion trends and style goes into overdrive. I am always excited to reinvent myself with the new look for the new season.
Enter the Little Black Blazer Dress (LBBD)
Okay so I just made that up….maybe it’s the lack of sleep combined with too much coffee 😉 The LBBD is the classic LBD plus the classic black blazer. This year I was initially looking for something plaid in an over sized blazer or blazer dress, but I just couldn’t find anything that I loved. Then I saw this Helmut Lang black blazer dress and fell for it HARD. It is definitely a splurge-worthy piece and here’s why: the little black blazer dress combines the classic LBD and black Blazer with endless styling options. If you are on the hunt for a high-end black blazer dress then look no more.
My new winter fav: Faux leggings
These faux leggings are a great piece for women’s fall-winter fashion for just about anything you want to do. The silky micro suede material has the feel of sweatpants, but the looks of suede. Bonus: they are also a great price for the quality. I adore this rich butterscotch color for fall. Check them out HERE.
You can style these leggings many different ways. Recently I went for traditional (or office appropriate) and a fun weekend, or street style, day to night look
