Getting Creative with Small Spaces
Handbags were my first love, and so it’s only fitting they have their own space to be appreciated. Sadly, we don’t have enough room for a walk-in closet. These DIY Ikea shelves display the handbag collection in a way that’s both organized and artistic. After all, purses are art. 😉
Small Space, Big Impact
This little nook has become a favorite. Let me tell you why.
FOCAL POINT: DIY Ikea Shelves for handbag display became the focal point of this small Dressing Area.
COLOR: Adding this cream rug (5’x8′ on sale for $125 HERE) and coffee table really brought the space together. Also, painting the floor lamp white made the space seem less busy. This lamp had a beautiful brass finish, but I realized a little brass goes a long way, and the beige white color is more cohesive.
Just wanted to share this little nook in our attic bedroom update. I’m surprised at how much adding the cream rug and tiered table and removing some of the gold made this small space seem cozy but not overstuffed. Did you catch this post of this bedroom just after our floors were redone? I’ve moved things around again and updated the bedding so I hope to shoot that and share it soon.
Thanks for visiting! Let me know if you have any questions.
