What’s the most versatile dress in your closet? I’ve got one that is hard to beat.
Hi Fashion friends. Do you have a dress that is absolutely perfect for layering and figure flattering? This one is hands down my favorite at the moment. Many different tops look great under it and as you imagine completely change the look. It’s also great with a tank under it and a tailored jacket over it or a duster. I will be sharing other ways I’m wearing it soon. I love the dark denim fabric and clean traditional lines. I got so excited about this dress. For the first time ever I felt compelled to make a youtube video but that is still in progress.
Back to this look, army green is my color. I’ve had this DVF shirt for some time and found these boots at one of my very favorite stores, Intermix. Sometimes it’s fun to create a long line with the same color and create a balance look. I like the funky camouflage bag with it.
About six years ago when over the knee boots were in, I had some that drove me nuts sliding down. I sold them on The RealReal and decided that over the knee thing just wasn’t for me until this year. Over the knee boots have really improved with technology and I am now obsessed with them. There is a part of me that would just love to have all the basic colors… oh well. So I decided on the army green for my high heel over the knee look for this season. The trick I learned is to tie them while sitting, not standing. When I tie them standing they slide more because I tie them too high up.
