If you love the beaded lighting trend, but you don’t want to commit to a light, adding a beaded garland is a nice compromise. It’s an easy way to mix in the “found” look with texture and a casual vibe.

Painted white books are great for adding white texture and elevation. The white velvet pumpkins add a neutral colored seasonal element. The chunky blanket adds a cozy vibe and minimizes cords.

Dressing up your lamps with wood beads is one way to add charm. Also, try different lamp shades to make a less expensive lamp look custom. These shades are from another pair of lamps that I switched out. Consider changing the plug and cord to white or whatever will blend best with your decor. Cords are an unwelcome visual distraction to an otherwise pretty vignette.
