Reebok Classics: favorite summertime sneakers

This past week my husband and I took a short vacay to one of our favorite beachy spots, New Smyrna Beach, Fl. I absolutely LOVE living in the hustle and bustle of Atlanta, but sometimes you just need to trade the highway sounds for the relaxing smell of the ocean breeze. This Atlanta girl had a BLAST soaking in the sun and relaxing on the beaches listening to the waves. Of course until soaking in the sun became frying in the sun….yikes.

Since we love to stay somewhat active on our vacations, I knew I would be needing a shoe that would check all my summer essential boxes:

• Sturdy enough to be worn on the beach and withstand the sand and saltwater
• Preferably a bright color for the summer season
• Be versatile enough to wear with multiple outfits      

These classic leather Reeboks were EXACTLY what I was looking for and were a total hit for this trip. I know what you’re thinking…. “Didn’t my mom 0r grandma have a pair of these in the 90s” Stick with me here…there is a reason they are called a classic because they are a timeless look that go with anything! Below I wore them with a simple workout outfit as we walked down the beach for some evening exercise.

Now if you are looking for a running shoe for your summertime workouts, I wouldn’t turn to these first. You would probably need something with a little more support to protect your feet. However, everyone needs a casual pair of sneakers for summer outdoor activities that will keep you looking stylish! These Reeboks withstood the water splashes and were incredibly comfortable to wear when walking on the sand.  I highly recommend adding these classics to your summer collection.
