Menswear Inspired Look that Flatters the Female Figure
Hi fashion friends. Do you want a flawlessly tailored blazer that creates a flattering female silhouette and doesn’t go out of style? Smythe makes my favorite mid-price blazers. My first Smythe Blazer I purchased 2 years ago. It’s black and gold and its been a staple piece in my wardrobe.
This season I went for this classic plaid color scheme. I love the dark brown elbow patch and gold buttons that pop. The little red line in the pattern lends perfect for the holidays. The best part is the tailoring that creates a waistline. Also, I love this jacket with jeans and a white shirt.
My other favorite versatile pieces are the velvet shorts by Alice and Olivia. They are super slimming! This look would have been better with tights. I didn’t realize how white my legs were until my husband took these pictures. 😉

I think the details and quality of the Smythe blazer can stand up to Balmain. I’ve been obsessed with Balmain blazers for many years.. I love this JCrew one in grey with gold buttons. It too looks like it has great lines.
