Modern Monochrome Tribal Decor

Tribal decor comes from any kind of tribal art or culture. Neutral African inspired decor has added a global and exotic flair to our living room. My favorite new addition are these stools. These photogenic stools got me thinking and searching. Then I realized lots of my current favorite decorating items are tribal and neutral. From bone beads to hanging African baskets and juju hats to sculpture.

These global-inspired woven poufs have been a favorite since this fall post, and they are under $50. Mixing modernist egg chairs with this global pouf is the only thing that makes these chairs comfortable.

This white feather JuJu Hat was my first African tribal decor purchase, and I still love it.

These eye-catching stools look great with everything from farmhouse to cottage to modern glam. Have you seen the original designer ones in People magazine? They are stunning ceramic stools. These wooden ones are very similar for a fraction of the price. Both versions photograph well because of the way the light catches the woven trellis pattern.
