Outfit Planning Made Easy
Back from the beach and now what to wear when you feel a little bloated from too much good food. I vote for this sparkly black shift dress. You need a sparkly black shift dress, right 😉 I wanted to share this easy look with y’all. A consistent winner for all types of occasions is a black and white color combo and the shift dress is just so breezy and comfortable. Black and white not only looks classy, it also makes outfit planning easy. Am I right about that?
Yea, it’s a LBD, but it’s sparkly and on sale. I’ve gotta admit I haven’t worn sequins in at least 10 years, but it just felt right. I scored this shift dress by Rachel Zoe on the Shopbop sale while driving back to Atlanta. At that point I was just crossing my fingers it would fit well, since I knew it would be easy to style. Black and white color schemes are dramatic, but again, they are just SO easy to pull off. If you want more details on my outfit, then just scroll to the bottom. There I have linked several options on sale!
Atlanta, Fashion, Friends and Charity all rolled up into one:
Doggies on the Catwalk
I was REALLY excited to head back to Atlanta for the Doggies on the Catwalk show. And I want to point out that this was more than just a show. It’s an annual philanthropic fundraiser headed by my friend Vincent Martinez of Fashionado.
Doggies on the Catwalk is also a foundation with a dual purpose. On the one hand, it seeks suitable companions for humans with special needs. On the other, it helps find suitable homes for animals in need. It achieves these goals by providing financial assistance to non-profit organizations that serve both ends. Doggies on the Catwalk teamed up with Canine Assistants, a non-profit which trains and provides service dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities or other special needs.
