Summer 2018 Belts: Big & Small

Your wardrobe needs a waistline

Sometimes bigger is just bigger, and sometimes bigger actually IS better. This season’s fresh vintage inspiration is to go with a BIG belt. Take it from Cult GAIA. Accessories are everything. There’s always room for a classic belt in your wardrobe. One that can be worn with ease and doesn’t compete with the rest of the look. For Spring & Summer 2018 you can do both. Add a big belt to your wardrobe while at the same time refreshing your classic look with a small rope belt like this one.

First the Big One

STYLE Question

If you look closely, you’ll see I have a rubber band holding the back of this belt flush. The belt has a long “tail.” On their website, you can see how Cult GAIA looped it. I will definitely try that next time. Check it out HERE.

A twist on a classic belt update. 

I’ll make the case for a SMALL classic nautical belt as well. This belt caught my eye last spring, but it sold out before I could get my hands on it. So obviously when I found it restocked, it was a must. I love it with jeans as well. See how I styled it with white levis HERE.

So which do you prefer? If you have short legs and a long waist, I suggest trying the big rattan belt. If you already have long legs, then anything would work for you. No prob. 🙂
