Faux Leggings Styled Two Ways
My new winter fav: Faux leggings
These faux leggings are a great piece for women’s fall-winter fashion for just about anything you want to do. The silky micro suede material has the feel of sweatpants, but the looks of suede. You can style these leggings many different ways. Recently I went for traditional (or office appropriate) and a fun weekend, or street style, day to night look.
Let’s start with the conservative approach.
This look is cozy, traditional, and current.
Even though they look like pants, they are still leggings so I believe they look best layered with something long covering your bum. Leggings are leggings and if they don’t have back pockets, it looks kinda funny not to layer them. However, I feel like adding the belt somehow transforms them into trousers and allows for some wiggle room with layering. Or maybe I was just too hot when we took these pics, as it was about a month ago before the weather in Atlanta really felt like Fall, and so I just didn’t need the warm cardigan yet. This particular cardigan is very warm cashmere.
Transform from day to night.
Last week I had fun wearing these brown suede legging with my favorite white sock booties and long cashmere sweater for a day to night street style look. Sometimes I am just in the mood to be edgier so I layered with my favorite white sock booties also worn (HERE in my NYFW post) and long cashmere sweater. Layering this long white cardigan is such a dreamy piece I could live in it.
